Referral Agreement

For people who refer families or teachers to ChronosLearn. ChronosLearn parents have their own offer at chronoslearn.com/refer.

1The relationship

• The Referrer introduces families and teachers to ChronosLearn. The Referrer is independent: not an employee, agent or partner of ChronosLearn, and has no ownership, territory or share of the business.
• The Referrer decides when and how much to refer, and pays their own costs.

2What the Referrer earns

The rate is the one in force on the date ChronosLearn receives the family’s booking or enrolment form, or the teacher’s application, carrying the Referrer’s code or name. It is paid when the milestone is reached, even if that is later. “Signs up by 31 October 2026” means that date: the date ChronosLearn receives the family’s booking or enrolment form, or the teacher’s application, carrying the Referrer’s code or name.

• Paid by Interac e-Transfer within 10 days of the milestone. A commission already earned stands, even if a later payment is refunded.
• Each family or teacher counts once, under one reward. This doesn't combine with any other ChronosLearn referral offer.
• ChronosLearn makes no deductions, and there are no negative balances or clawbacks. The Referrer is responsible for their own taxes.
• ChronosLearn may change published rates for future sign-ups, never for families or teachers who have already signed up.

3How referrals are credited

• A referral is credited when the family or teacher signs up through the Referrer's personal link, or names the Referrer in "Who referred you?"
• A referral is locked to the Referrer for 90 days from the date ChronosLearn receives the family’s or teacher’s first form carrying their code or name. First referrer wins: if more than one person is named, the first is credited. A family or teacher who was already in touch with ChronosLearn before the referral isn't credited.
• ChronosLearn's records decide. ChronosLearn will message the Referrer when a referred family or teacher joins, and when a payment is sent.

4How to refer

• Talk to parents only, never to children. Send them to chronoslearn.com/start.
• Don't collect any family's or child's details. ChronosLearn takes it from there.
• Always tell people you're paid for the referral.
• Use only ChronosLearn's own materials: the website, the /partners page and the printed card.
• No mass or unsolicited messages. Follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

5What the Referrer never says

• Any promise about marks, grades or results, or "guaranteed", "best" or "proven".
• Anything about another tutoring program or company.
• Start dates, class times, or prices and discounts that aren't on the website.
• That any grade other than Grade 9 is running, or anything about an online quiz or assessment.
• "I work for ChronosLearn".

6No authority

The Referrer can't sign or agree anything on ChronosLearn's behalf, promise results, or offer discounts. For anything they're unsure about, they send people to the website or to the team on WhatsApp.

7Ending

• Either side may end this agreement at any time with a written message (email or WhatsApp).
• Rewards for families and teachers who signed up before the end are still paid when their milestones are reached.
• ChronosLearn may end this agreement immediately for a breach of section 4, 5 or 6. Referrals made in breach aren't paid.

8General

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario. Changes must be in writing and agreed by both parties.

Accepting this agreement online counts as signing it. The signature lines below are for paper copies.
